Hi, I’m Chris. I plan, write, and build email marketing for businesses that sell online.
That covers the automated emails people get when they sign up, buy, stall, or leave. It also covers the campaigns you send to your list and the pages that bring people onto it.

Every customer takes some version of this path. Each stop is a place where the right email can move them to the next one.
- Finds you Opt-in and landing pages These are the pages that turn a visitor into a subscriber.
- Joins your list Welcome series These emails make the case for the first purchase.
- Buys Onboarding and post-purchase These emails help people get what they paid for.
- Goes inactive Re-engagement These emails reach people before they drift away for good.
- Cancels or lapses Failed payment and win-back These emails bring back the customers you’ve already paid to get.
What I can do for you
Some clients need one of these. Most end up needing two or three, because they depend on each other.
Automated email programs
I set up the emails that go out on their own when someone signs up, buys, stops using what they bought, or lets a payment fail. Once they’re running, they keep working without anyone pressing send.
Funnel and landing page copy
I write the opt-in pages that grow your list and the sales pages your emails point to. When the page and the email are written together, the reader doesn’t hit a jump in tone or message when they click.
Campaigns and launches
I write the promotions, product launches, and regular sends that go to your whole list. Each one is planned around what your readers already got from you, so nothing lands twice.
Revenue Leak Audit
I go through what you send today and map it against where your customers drop off. You get a written list of the gaps, ranked by how much money each one is likely costing you.
You work with one person from start to finish.
A lot of email work gets split between a strategist, a copywriter, and someone who builds it. I do all three, so nothing gets lost between them.
Plan
I start with how your business makes money and where customers fall off. That tells us which emails to build first.
Write
I write every email and page myself. The copy is plain and specific, and it sounds like a person talking to one reader.
Build
I set up the triggers, timing, and segments in your email platform, test them, and watch the results after launch.
Most of the work happens in writing, on a shared doc and over email. We’ll get on a call when there’s a real decision to make.
Who I work with
Over the years my clients have mostly come from four kinds of businesses.
Local service businesses
These are companies where the service is similar everywhere, so follow-up is what sets them apart.
Course creators and online experts
These are people selling courses, programs, or consulting under their own name.
Consultancies and advisory firms
These are small firms that sell expertise and need a list that stays warm between projects.
Growing tech companies
These are companies with an established product and a marketing budget behind it.
About Me
I’m Chris R. Benjamin. I’ve been writing copy for more than ten years, and I trained under direct response marketing principles that work to drive leads and sales.
For the past several years I’ve run a full email program on my own, from the strategy to the copy to the build and the deliverability work that keeps it all landing in the inbox.
I have a degree in psychology, which is a big part of why I plan email around what people actually do instead of around a send calendar.
Tell me what you sell and what you send today.
A couple of sentences is plenty. I’ll write back with what I’d look at first and whether I’m the right fit.
